The Little Car Show is a must-see for those who like oddities and rarities over the mainstream. The majority of what you’ll find at this show consists of cars that are typically 20+ years old, and are powered by displacements no larger than 1601cc. There are also some electric cars sprinkled in, but for the most part, you’ll revel in the tiny, sputtering sounds of mini and micro cars alike. Some vehicles are completely custom made, while others are stock or resto-modified.

This event is also great for those who like to people watch (in the non-creepy sense of the term). Getting to see who drives what car, and how that car suits them, is pretty exciting.

This year, the event capped their entrants to 100 cars, but extras and stragglers could be found throughout the side streets and parking lots. The show is hosted in downtown Pacific Grove, so there’s no shortage of antique shops, coffee houses, and shady benches to spectate from.

Hopefully you enjoy our brief coverage of the show from this year. We highly recommend making a stop here the next time you’re in town for Car Week!
