If you’ve never been to the smaller events that comprise Car Week’s whole, you’re missing out. There are gems to be found in all corners of the Peninsula during the 10 day span of automotive madness, and it’s at gatherings like the Carmel Concours on the Avenue that you’ll find some of them.

During this event, eighteen blocks of downtown Carmel-by-the-Sea is blocked off to pay tribute to some truly breathtaking machinery. Anything from Porsche race cars to Ferraris to custom hot rods can be viewed on display throughout the city’s streets. Want to have a cup of coffee while staring on at an F40? Done. Care to pick up a new Coach bag and enjoy the presence of a gorgeous E9? Perfect. Whatever you like, you’ll probably find it here.

Below, you’ll find a gallery of some attendees that we found to be interesting, notable, and just plain cool. If you attended this year, feel free to share with us what car(s) you fancied!
